Cloud Systems Architect (Active TS/SCI Required)

About the Role

We are seeking a Cloud Systems Architect to join our growing team. In this role, you will design, implement, and optimize cloud infrastructure. This role requires a strategic thinker with deep technical expertise, capable of guiding cloud adoption, ensuring system reliability, and driving innovation across engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage scalable cloud architectures across multiple platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, and product teams to define cloud strategy and roadmap
• Evaluate, recommend, and integrate new cloud technologies and tools to optimize performance, security, and cost
• Ensure system security, reliability, and compliance with industry best practices
• Lead cloud migration initiatives, including assessing existing systems and developing modernization strategies
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams on cloud architecture and best practices
• Continuously monitor, analyze, and improve cloud performance and efficiency

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science and/or Engineering
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in cloud architecture, design, or infrastructure engineering
• Expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Strong knowledge of networking, security, and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation, and infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
• Proven track record of designing and implementing large-scale cloud solutions

Preferred:

• Cloud certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Architect, or Google Cloud Professional)
• Familiarity with AI/ML infrastructure, IoT, or large-scale data processing systems
